I've brought our 07 Chevy Chevy Tahoe in a few times. First times it was an electrical issue, then tires.. My wife stopped in for a broken rear brake bulb and they replaced it quickly and sent her on her way without charging her.. Headed in for brakes this week and a Check Engine warning light issue... Hovig, and the mechanics at FUNK BROTHERS AUTO are honest, fair, knowledgeable, and get the job done quickly. The are the best in the area, such a refreshing change from all the crooks that take advantage. I recommend them highly.

We are very thankful to have been down the street from Funk Bros when our car had issues. There was no power circulating throughout the car because of the corroded bolts. They consistently checked with us to let us know what they were doing and what worked and what didn't work and the steps they were taking. The owner was very nice and concerned. I would highly recommend this place.

My college-aged daughter was in L.A. for a summer internship. We had purchased a used car for her right before she left for CA and didn't have much time to check out the vehicle for any issues. Unfortunately a couple problems came up during her stay, and both times she had to quickly find a reliable mechanic. We searched online, saw all of the positive reviews, and made the call. I can't say enough good things about Funk Bros and how helpful they have been in taking care of the problems, promptly and for a very reasonable cost. We feel so fortunate to have had a reputable, trust-worthy resource during a time when she was 3000 miles from home. Thank you for making a big city feel like a very friendly small town!

Amazing! Hovig is the main guy there and fixed my smoked up overheated BMW same day! Fast, friendly & efficient service and the best price. Probably the only guys I'll go back to whenever I drive my car into LA! Thanks Hovig!!!

Hovig was honest & professional from the first email. Yes, I emailed him from the reviews on here and Angie's List. He got right back to me and we set up an appointment. My Golf TDI had just come off warranty and needed a 40K mile service. After we scheduled, I brought him the car and he looked up all the necessary work that VW recommended doing on the service. He was no nonsense and direct and while I expected to come back at the end of the day, they managed to do the service, and smog the car while I waited. Oh and of course, not only is the service better than you get at a dealer, but it was a third of the price. Hovig has earned not just this review, but my future business and since we have three cars in my family, that will probably be pretty soon!

I've been going to Funk Brothers for the last 7 years. They are trustworthy and efficient. Funk Brothers is the best repair shop on this side of town that I can recommend.

Hovig is the best. My daughter moved to West Hollywood and needed smog test for her car. Found this place. He is straight forward and I am happy I took her car here.

I was in the middle of moving from West Hollywood to West Hills and I had my truck repaired for a broken fuel pump. About a week later, the truck started spewing gas from a leaking fuel line and after towing it back to Funk Bros (from West Hills), they repaired it at no cost, AND repaired my A/C system (compressor, belt, tensioner) FOR FREE (to offset the towing costs and the inconvenience). This type of customer service is what's missing these days. I've used Funk Brothers before and would use them for every repair job. I am sad I no longer live near them.
