I've been using Funk Bros for years, but on a little hiatus as I'm in a new car which offers free service for two years through the dealership. However, on my last tuneup the dealer told me I had a nail in my tire and they don't deal with those due to liabilities. So I went to my guys at Funk whom I trust for reliable service at fair prices. The nail was removed and patched within 15 minutes. As soon as my free dealer services are up I'll be right back at FB. Thanks guys.

I had taken my truck to the dealer for servicing and they told me I needed a new water pump. The price they charged seemed high so I took it to Funk Bros as they are in my neighborhood and had been recommended to me. They told me there was nothing wrong with my water pump and that it did not need replacing and showed me there was no leaking. They did not charge me anything. I appreciated the honestly and brought it back to them for servicing instead of the dealer. They have been professional and honest with me so far. I just started taking my truck to them, but so far so good.

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. They are, in all aspects, the best experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. I have "issues" with mechanics, I'm that girl that drives a stick and works on her own car whenever possible. My dad, who raced open wheel race cars as a hobby, taught me a lot about cars while we were at the track and at home in our garage. He worked on all our cars and I never had anybody else work on my card. He passed away when I was in my twenties and my horrible experiences with mechanics began. Taking your car to the repair shop is often a nightmare as a woman. Many mechanics will talk to down to you, act as if you couldn't possibly understand even the simplest car repair, and this is if they talk to you at all. I have been overcharged, charged for unnecessary repairs, etc. So yes, I often walk in with my baggage dragging behind me and my issues dancing around me. Funk Brothers Auto is the opposite of everything bad that I described above. They are professional, respectful, kind, attentive, accommodating, patient, and good at their job. Their shop is clean, the mechanics friendly and their manager Hovig should be teaching classes on customer service. They communicate well, provide honest estimates, explain what needs to be done AND what will happen if you don't without using scare tactics or bullying you into repairs. Their pricing is fair, they use OEM parts not cheap aftermarket crap, and their labor costs are more than reasonable. They did a lot of work in a short period of time. When they discovered they could do one of the repairs by replacing a cheap vs an expensive part, they replaced the cheap part and saved me $200 in the process. What mechanic does that? I couldn't recommend these guys more, please give them a try I promise you won't be disappointed. I wish I could use their services more frequently but that would mean something on my car broke (boo!) so I'll just have to settle with the fact that I know I have a great mechanic to return to if need be.

Went in to get a general car inspection and they gave me great feedback. Will definitely bring my car to get serviced here. Thank you for the great customer service!

I love my 2007 Yellow FJ Cruiser. She drives great and has been with me since I purchased her off her lease in 2009. Luckily not much has been needed to take good care of her and she looks and drives amazing but at 113000 miles, which is low for her age, some major stuff like brakes and struts is just par of the course and needed attention, like asap. This all happened just as the Corona virus hit and I couldn't go to my regular mechanic because they were shut down. And the guys who just replaced my tires were too pricey. I searched YELP for a good brake and strut mechanic near me that was open and I found Funk Brothers. They had lots of great reviews here on yelp and now, after deciding to have my car serviced by them, I know why. It's easy, Hovig the managing director knows his stuff, quoted me a very reasonable price, is kind and makes certain that the job is done right and that I was 100% satisfied. Also, they wiped the car down and made sure I felt safe in this crazy of times. But please, everyone be extra safe and wipe down your stuff too! My car and I are doing great! Stay well and healthy out there! If you need some car service I can highly recommend Funk Brothers!

This place is the best! They replaced my battery and starter back in December and for some reason, three months later, my car wouldn't start. Took it back to them and my battery was dead. They replaced it under warranty - while I waited - without question. My original repair was done quickly and they communicated with me throughout the entire process. I never felt they were trying to rip me off or sell me on unnecessary repairs. I HIGHLY recommend.

They were so helpful and went out of their way to get all of our repair needs met at a reasonable price. I would not trust my car care needs to anyone else.

Thank you Susan. It was a pleasure to be of service.

When Jiffy Lube waited over an hour to tell me that they were refusing me service because my oil cap was too tight (even though they had done my oil change many times before and never mentioned this), they sent me to Funk Brothers because they knew they could fix it if the cap broke. Apparently they do this a lot. Not to mention I was driving to move to Portland, OR from LA in 2 days. I get to Funk Bros early in the morning the next day and the worker is professional and knowledgeable. He told me if the cap breaks it would take all day to fix it but they could definitely get it done. Later he calls me and tells me the cap didn't break and they were able to do my oil change! Sweet relief! THANK YOU Funk Bros for saving my move and taking a huge financial and mental weight off my shoulders! 5/5

These guys are great. Quickly repaired the starter in my Jeep, and when it failed again a few days later, they replaced the faulty mechanism in two hours and sent me on my way, free of charge. Always super professional, thorough and courteous

I am very pleased with the service I received here. They were always prompt at getting my repairs finished in a timely manner and keeping me updated on the progress. I also appreciate that they are honest. I KNOW when a car repair business is lying to me. Everything can be Googled nowadays and it's easy to go on Reddit and/or forums and ask for second opinions. Pricing is also very competitive. They were honest with the diagnostic and didn't add in any unecessary repairs. I know this because I had a recent diagnostic with the dealer and the same issues popped up so I already went in having a general idea of what needed to be fixed. The owner is very professional and good at explaining what is being done to your vehicle in a clear manner. I have dealt with other repair shops where weren't able to explain what they were doing and are unprofessiona. For example, some individuals who work at car repair businesses don't know how to address or talk to customers appropriately (calling me "Honey" etc). You won't get that here. They are very, very professional!
