I own a 1971 Chevy Chevelle and as a classic car owner I found it really hard to find a great trusty worthy mechanic but Hovig and his team are absolutely amazing. The work they do is impeccable. I've been going to Hovig and his team for about two years and my car always comes back perfect. They are kind honest and reliable. If you own a classic car or any car for that matter these are your guys and should be your go to shop!

I have a Diesel Car and it's hard to find places that know how to work on my car correctly. Funk Bros Auto had plenty experience and could back up the experience by answering questions when I asked them more complicated questions related to diesels. They were also the most affordable compared to others. It was my second time taking my car to them. I'll definitely be using them again in the future.

I went in to see them today after communicating through Yelp (asking if they do pre purchase inspections). They're responsive and quick if you have questions. Today they were fast and gave my car a clean bill of health so now I'm confident in buying this car that I'm leasing.

We've been clients of Funk Brothers through three locations (Ivar, La Brea and now Ventura); in other words, for many years. They've done everything for our Prius from routine maintenance to putting it back together after it was hit hard by another driver. The work is top-drawer. They stand by it. (Maybe once or twice in 15 years, we've had to bring something back for a correction and there was no push-back.) They're honest. And they save us money. Example: A hit & run driver recently knocked off a side mirror. Toyota of Hollywood quoted almost $300 for the part and almost $200 for labor. Yikes! Hovig, who owns and runs Funk Bros., told us what part to buy online -- I found it for $40 unused on eBay from someone who'd accidentally purchased the wrong part -- and installed it while I waited. Total parts & labor: Way under $200. He and Armen, whom you may encounter, are both good guys, respectful and appreciative of their customers. P.S. Agree with Alisha, who wrote recently, that at Funk Brothers she NEVER encounters "that [overbearing, arrogant] tone of voice," which all women are familiar with, that implies we're incapable of understanding simple explanations.

They are awesome and I have found my new Auto Repair shop! I had to get my brakes checked and my side mirror replaced. I drove in and was greeted right away by Hovig Manouchekian. He was very friendly and approachable. He got my car in right away for a diagnostic. They were very fair on pricing and what was wrong with my car. I was informed of all the issues with my car but was never pressured into getting everything fixed all at once. Hovig was very receptive when I suggested that we only fix one thing that day and I could come back in intervals to get the rest of the issues fixed. He was awesome!

This place is the place to go when you need something done for your car. It sucks that I have just recently discovered this place after living in the Valley for such a long time, and now I'm moving out of state. Came here to make sure my car is in great running condition during my move cross country, and the service is just amazing. Everyone here is so helpful, honest, and genuine. If I had known about this place sooner, this would been my go to auto shop. Hovig is very responsive when it comes to answering questions via Yelp and Arman was so helpful and thorough when he was explaining certain components about my car.

Took my 2014 Silverado because my ac gave out in this blazing heat. Armen was a true professional...,, welcomed me and was able to get me in and out the same day to my surprise. They replaced my condenser and charged me almost half of what the dealer wanted for the same job using the same original manufacturers part. I don't normally write reviews, but Armen and the people there have a customer for life and I recommend Funk Bros Auto with full confidence! Amazing service and amazing work! Thank you

Helpful and seem very honest. They are considerate and try to save you money. My car was making a scary clicking sound. They tested it in front of me. Found it was a minor problem with my hubcap. They removed it, fixed the problem, and didn't charge me! This was my 1st time there. They seemed honest, respectful, and caring:)
