I have an unusual car from a time period (80s-90s) many, many mechanics have told me is difficult because of parts availability, lack of knowledge, etc. Seriously, every place I've been to, the mechanics have been dicks about this car. I work in retail, so it's been startling to have people be outright hostile and dismissive when I'm attempting to pay them to do something. I tried Funk Bros. on a whim, and couldn't have had a better experience. They listened to me, assured me my car was fixable, and proceeded to do a great job in a more-than-reasonable amount of time. When tricky situations arose (odd-size hoses, locking wheel nuts with no key, etc) they let me know what was happening, and then they solved the problems. Short version: they were nice; they did what they said they'd do; and I will gladly give them my money every time.
